Requirements:

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS


For entry into Year 1: Advanced Diploma in Financial Management and Accounting


For after A/L Students – Full time path

  • Those who have sat for GCE Advanced Level and qualified with minimum Three (03) simple passes are eligible for the first year of the degree program

AND

  • Those who have sat for GCE Advanced Level and absence of Three (03) simple passes should need to follow Certification in Business Management (CBM) during the First year of the degree program

OR

  • Those who have completed their GCE Ordinary level will have to follow Foundation Course in Business Management and after successful completion are eligible for the first year of the degree program

For professionals – Part time path

  • Those who have qualified in GCE Advanced Level with Three (03) Years of work experience

OR

  • Those who have qualified in GCE Ordinary Level with Five Year (05) work experience

OR

  • Those who have successfully completed Advanced Certificate in Financial & Management Accounting (ACFMA)

OR

  • Part qualification of professional qualifications such as AAT, CA, ACCA, CIMA, CMA with the approval of the course director also eligible for the first year of degree program on Part Time basis


For entry into Year 2: BA (Hons) Professional Accounting


  • Those who have successfully qualified in Advanced Diploma in Financial and Management Accounting are eligible for the second year


For entry into Year 3: BA (Hons) Professional Accounting


  • Those who have successfully qualified in Higher National Diploma in Professional Accounting are eligible for the final year




Description:

This detailed BA (Hons) Professional Accounting degree, awarded by Coventry University focuses on giving you the foundational knowledge needed for a successful career within accounting.


For a variety of industries, we will provide you with theoretical insights and the practical knowledge needed to effectively deliver financial services. This course covers a comprehensive range of themes including taxation, financial reporting, budget management and business operations.


The ability to produce quality financial data is integral to strategic decision-making and could ultimately be the reason a business thrives or dissolves. Year 3 – BA (Hons) Professional Accounting (Part Time)

Part Time Path


Year 1 – Advanced Diploma in Financial and Management Accounting

Year 2 – Higher National Diploma in Professional Accounting
