Diploma in Network Engineering Full Time

Requirements:

A/L Option: Minimum 2 passes at G.C.E A/L in Mathematics/ Science streams or Technology Stream with ICT


O/L Option: Sat for G.C.E. A/L in Mathematics/ Science/ Technology stream and passed G.C.E. O/L with minimum 5

credits including “B” passes for Mathematics, Science/ICT and “C” pass for English


NIBM Option: Successfully completed a certificate program specialized in Network Engineering at NIBM

Description:

The Diploma in Network Engineering (Full Time) provides students with in-depth knowledge and practical skills in the field of networking and network administration. This course covers a wide range of essential topics, starting with foundational concepts such as computer science, mathematics for computing, and programming fundamentals. Students will learn about digital logic, computer organization, and the basics of networking, preparing them to understand complex network systems.


The curriculum delves deeper into specialized areas such as data communication, switching, routing, and wireless essentials, equipping students with the skills needed to design, implement, and manage modern network infrastructures. Students will also study enterprise networking, network security, and automation, preparing them for the rapidly evolving field of network management.
